Supplementing a Central AC with a Ductless Air Conditioner

If you live in a house that has already been installed with insulated ductwork, you can add air conditioning to your existing furnace. If, however, your house has no ductwork in place, you might want to look closely into a ductless air conditioner. A ductless AC is also a practical choice when you want to cool a single room as opposed to the entire house as is always the case with a central air conditioning unit. Most homeowners also find ductless air conditioners as good supplements for central ACs is situations where there is an extension built behind the house at the backyard and which extending the central air conditioning system from the main house could be an expensive choice. Ductless air conditioners have notable advantages over the traditional window mounted units. Generally though, most people love the ductless ACs because of the thermostat that is used to regulate the room temperatures. Further, there is no need of moving ductless units from one room to another or in between seasons, ductless ACs tend to be more permanent than window mounted units.
